With millions of people enjoying fairground rides every year, the pleasure parks are very busy especially in the peak of summer. This is no excuse though for poor health and safety and each year many fairground ride accident claims are made by people who were injured by the fairground ride when all they wanted was just a bit of fun that day.
The fairground owners have a responsibility to ensure all members of the public are safe when using their rides.
Should you be involved in a fairground ride accident, you should report the accident and injury to the fairground staff and have details logged in their accident book. This will be useful should you later wish to make a fairground ride accident claim for compensation.
Some fairground accidents have been due to faulty straps which hold passengers in place on the ride, causing them to fall from a height. Others could be from one car on the rollercoaster hitting the one in front, causing injuries to the passengers in both cars.
There are so many different types of accidents that could happen as a result of negligence by the fairground staff and owners. If you have been unfortunate enought to have an accident in a fairground and would like to claim compensation please contact us.
