Can I claim for a work accident?
The answer is often yes, if the work accident resulted in an injury due to the employers negligence. If the work place injury sustained has been diagnosed by a doctor and if the accident happened within the last three years. The details should also be logged in the work accident book if one is available.
Can I Claim for a car accident?
If the car accident was not your own fault, even if it was a 50/50 liability a claim for compensation may be made. Passengers are able to claim as the accident would not have been their fault in virtually every accident. There is a three year time limit in which to make a claim and the injury must be diagnosed by a doctor.
Can I claim for a slip or trip accident?
Many slip, trip and fall accidents happen in the street or when shopping in a supermarket. It is always helpful to have photos of a pothole which caused the accident in the street or if it was in a supermarket or similar place, then it should be recorded in their accident book. The three year time limit applies and it is necessary to have it recorded on medical records.
Can I Claim for a child accident?
Children will have accidents as part of growing up and learning, however, if the child accident is caused by negligence a child claim for compensation may be possible.
