Traffic accident claim when the third party left the scene

Filed under: Car Accident Compensation — admin @ 10:35 am

Being involved in a road traffic accident can be a traumatic experience, especially when injuries have been caused through no fault of your own. This can be more frustrating if the driver of the other vehicle drove off without exchanging details so the insurance company can then handle any claims which may be made.

Sometimes a driver will leave the scene due to not being insured, not have a valid driving licence or for a number of other reasons best known to themselves. It is an offence to leave the scene of a road traffic accident without exchanging details with the other person involved.

We handle many car accident compensation claims for people who are injured in a traffic accident where the third party left the scene without carrying out their responsibilities.

The traffic accident would need to have been reported to the police and the injuries sufficient to require medical attention for an injury claim for a traffic accident to be made.

We have handled many claims for people injured by a third party who left the scene, on a no win no fee basis, where the injured person have received 100% of the injury compensation awarded.

To make a claim for being injured in a non fault traffic accident where the other driver left the scene without speaking to you, please call us on 0845 10 88 333 or claim by clicking: Injury Compensation for non fault traffic accident.

Injured in a road traffic accident, driver left the scene

Filed under: Car Accident Compensation, Injury Compensation — admin @ 9:15 am

Being involved in a road traffic accident and being injured, is bad enough especially if the accident isn’t your own fault. It is when the third party driver left the scene without exchanging details that people often feel very annoyed, upset and and angry with that driver.

It may be that the third party driver is uninsured, has no tax, licence, MOT or is a drunk or had been taking drugs that makes them act in such a way. People leave the scene of a traffic accident too often without carrying out their responsibilities correctly.

We handle injury compensation claims for drivers who suffer because of road users who leave the scene and are then traced or untraced, or are driving illegally and have caused an accident to other road users or pedestrians.

These claims are handled on a no win no fee basis and upon winning, 100% of the injury compensation is paid to the injured driver, passenger or pedestrian.

If you have been injured by a driver who left the scene, the accident and injury must be reported to the police as soon as possible.

Any injuries suffered will need to be on medical records in order to claim for an injury.

There is a three year time limit in which to claim for being involved in a road accident with a driver who leaves the scene.
