Claim Accident Compensation for Injury on Stairs

Filed under: Claim Compensation,Slip Trip Accident — admin @ 7:29 am

If you have been injured on stairs by slipping or tripping, if the accident was not your own fault and could have been avoided if someone had not been negligent, then making a claim for being injured on stairs may be possible.

Many of the accident claims for slips or trips on stairways are as a result of work related accidents. Employers and employees should ensure the stairways are kept clear and well maintained to help avoid slipping and tripping accidents.

Some of the main injuries, suffered from an accident on stairs, we help people claim compensation for are: broken bones, a lower back injury and muscle damage in the neck which is often called a whiplash injury.

Any accident and injury involving a slip or trip on a stairway in a public place should be reported to the authority responsible for the stairs and logged into the accident book. By doing this, if there is a defect, it will give the authority a chance to rectify the problem before someone else has an accident in the same area.

It is advisable to take photographs of the area which caused the accident on the stairs before the authority is notified. These photos may be necessary, if at a later time you wanted to see if a claim for injury compensation could be made.

To find out if a claim for slipping on stairs is possible on a No Win No Fee basis, please call us on    0845 10 88 333    or claim online by clicking: Slip, Trip or Fall on a Stairway Compensation Claim.

We work hard all year round and when we go on holiday, for a well deserved break, we do so to relax and have fun with friends or family.

In the UK there are lots of family holiday resorts such as Haven holidays, Butlins or Park Resorts.

Families choose these resorts as they are fun for children. You usually stay in a caravan and most of these parks have swimming pools, kid’s entertainment and entertainment complexes.

To avoid accidents in Haven holidays, Butlins or Park Resorts it is the responsibility of the parks to ensure that all public areas especially around the swimming pool or entertainment complex are fully maintained for safety.

If you do suffer an injury which you believe was not your own fault then you may be able to claim Injury Compensation.  All these resorts should have insurance to cover such accidents.

After you have suffered an accident it is important you report it to a manager, make sure it is recorded into an accident book and record any witness details.

Once the injury claims advice has been given and we have assessed your accident details, if we feel you have a valid claim which is likely to succeed, we can help you claim compensation for injuries suffered.

Many people are aware of No Win No Fee accident compensation claims and have heard a story or two about someone who wanted to claim compensation for injuries with either a successful or unsuccessful outcome.

It is important to understand that all injury compensation claims are different and just because one person didn’t  receive compensation, it does not mean that by making a claim you will also be unsuccessful. Many thousands of people are awarded compensation each year, for their non fault accident.

One of the points which is vital to help make a successful claim, is to prove a third party is liable for the accident and injury. To do this, as much evidence as possible is obtained surrounding the circumstances.

Another is that the injury must be seen to be sufficient and medical attention would have been needed.

A third is the accident for an adult must have happened within the last three years, this is different for a child claim for injuries.

Does it cost to Claim?

Filed under: Claim Compensation — admin @ 1:37 pm

A question which is often asked by someone who has suffered an accident which was not their fault is does it cost to claim?

If the accident claim is worked on a No Win No Fee basis, and full cooperation is given throughout the claim, then it will not cost to claim.

If there is non cooperation or the solicitor has been mislead, they do have the right to make charges.

An injury compensation claim can be made as the result of a non fault accident.  If you were partly to blame, we will assess the details and a claim could still be possible.

We handle many claims for road traffic accidents for both drivers and passengers.  As a passenger the accident would not have been your fault and therefore usually one of the easiest claims to win.

If we have answered your question of does it cost to claim, and we are satisfied that you have a valid claim, we will pass the details to one of our specialist personal injury solicitors.

For the majority of accident claims which we handle that are successful, 100% of the awarded compensation will be paid out. If any deductions are to be made, which is usually only for assault claims, you will be informed before any paperwork is signed.

The Accident Advice Bureau have many years experience in handling claims and can put your mind at ease so that the question of will it cost to claim will be answered clearly.

Please contact us on 0845 10 88 333 or claim on line by clicking: Does It Cost To Claim.
