Accident on a Broken Kerb Trip & Fall Injury
A lady was with her friend and walking from her home towards the town when she tripped on a broken kerb, this made her fall very heavily onto the pavement causing an injury to her arm. The lady was in severe pain and needed to go to hospital as a result. At the hospital after x-rays were taken she was diagnosed with a broken arm. Her arm was put in plaster and took a long time to heal.
The accident on a broken kerb along with the injury details were reported to the council, who then came out and made repairs to the kerb. However, before reporting the accident, photographs were taken of the broken kerb and of the surrounding area.
