Funeral for schoolgirl following school bus crash

Filed under: Coach Passenger Claims — admin @ 8:00 pm

The funeral of schoolgirl Natasha Paton who was killed on a school trip to Alton Towers will took place today. In a tragic coach crash accident, pupil passengers were also seriously injured as the organised childrens school coach trip ended in horror last week.

The school coach was driving in horrendous snow and icy weather conditions from Lanark Grammar School to Alton Towers theme park in Staffordshire, for what was supposed to be a fantastic day out for the pupils. The coach driver lost control of the vehicle, it hit a bridge, then overturned landing in a river causing a fatality and severe injury to passengers.

Following the coach crash accident, Natasha’s parents said they were “devastated” by the death of their daughter.

A celebration of Natasha’s life took place at St Nicholas’s Parish Church in Lanark. As asked by the family, the mourners wore bright clothes to celebrate the teenagers short life.
