Elderly woman dies in car crash

Filed under: Passenger Claims — admin @ 8:55 am

An elderly woman died recently after the car she was in, as a front seat passenger, hit a wall near Torpoint, Plymouth.

The woman was with an elderly man who was driving a Vauxhall Corsa, when it crashed into a wall in Millbrook, South East Cornwall slightly before 8pm.

The woman passenger sadly died later that day in hospital. There were no other cars involved in the accident. Fire crews from Torpoint, Liskeard attended the scene on the B3247.

At the scene it was decided that although the occupants of the vehicle were not trapped, the fire service was asked to remove the roof of the vehicle in order to treat the casualties more easily.

The male driver of the car was also taken to hospital to be treated. Police have asked for any witnesses to the incident.

If you have been injured as a passenger in a car, then the accident would not have been your fault, making an injured passenger claim possible.

All injured as a passenger claims here at the Accident Advice Bureau are worked on a No Win No Fee basis where you will not be asked for any money at any time. If the claim is won 100% of any injury compensation is paid.
