Pedestrain hit by lorry wing mirror claims compensation
A pedestrian hit by a lorry when walking on the pavement made an injury compensation claim for the injuries suffered. The female pedestrian was walking on the pavement with a friend when a lorry wing mirror hit her in the back of the head making her fall to the ground. The lorry drove too closely to the pavement putting pedestrians in danger.
The pedestrian accident was witnessed by other pedestrians and the driver of the lorry stopped having realised what he had done. Details were taken of the lorry driver. The pedestrian went to hospital and was diagnosed with whiplash injuries to her neck and shoulders and also suffered a back injury.
