A mother was injured in a road traffic accident in Portsmouth when the car she was driving was hit by a lorry.

The lorry was stationary when the lady went round it and turned left, the lorry then started to reverse round a corner and didn’t see her.

The accident caused the driver of the car to be severely jolted in the collision which resulted in damage to the car, a smashed window and glass everywhere inside the car.

There was a baby in the car which luckily escaped injury. The lady car driver went to her doctor who diagnosed whiplash injuries to her neck and shoulders. The injury having lasted a month was not getting much better, so she had been offered physiotherapy to speed up the healing process.
